This gorgeous vista can be seen along the Colorado River on the way into Moab. I loved the contrast of the light water against the dark, red and purple cliffs. Pastel was the perfect medium to use the capture the richness of the scene.
I enjoy conveying the essence of my subject matter through my works in watercolor, pastel, oil, mixed media and alcohol inks. The beauty I find in my everyday life constantly inspires me to create.
